GENERAL
An Influencer or KOL (Key Opinion Leader) is someone with over 5,000+ genuine followers on a social media platform such as Instagram, Facebook, Weibo, WeChat, Little Red Book.
Orient is open to working with all brands, and those that represent them. This may include PR, Marketing, Media, Advertising, or Creative agencies.
Yes. In Australia, US, UK, Europe and many other parts of the world, influencers are required to disclose a sponsored post. The easiest way to do so is to include #ad or #sponsored. For further guidance, see our T&C’s.
The influencer owns the content. However, a brand can share the influencer’s post within the platform it appears in organically. If the brand would like to use it for advertising, then the brand should request a content licence.
Influencers create and submit a post with a price attached to a campaign brief. If the brand approves it, the influencer can publish it directly to their social media and be rewarded with payment. If the brand recommends changes to the content or price, they can suggest changes to the influencer. If the campaign has ended, the budget has been spent or influencer is not right for the campaign. Please read more on the approval process under “Here’s how Orient Influencer Marketing works for Brands & Agencies” via our https://orienthq.com/brands/ page.
After 60 days an influencer may remove the post. Although most leave the post on their feed.
Orient’s House Rules can be found in our Terms & Conditions. These rules set the principles for all parties – brands and influencers to abide by.
House rules are very important for all parties to abide by. If there is a breach, then the party will be removed from the Orient platform immediately. Please notify us at hello@orienthq.com if you think a party has breached the guidelines.

The licence cost depends on if it is for both online and offline channel use, or just online usage only.
